As we know Earth is the only planet known to harbour life. The native Americans have always had a saying which stated to use nature respectfully, never taking more than is needed. We refer to our planet as Mother Earth and view climate change or global warming as Mother Earth's defiant nature in getting even with those who have offset the balances. For those that believe in the Gaea theory, the notion that Earth is a living organism that will do whatever necessary to sustain itself, this holds true. Are we as a society at that tipping point yet? Perhaps we may be soon...but only time will tell.
