"Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty." - John Ruskin
"To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from." - Terry Tempest Williams
The sun, the moon and the stars would have disappeared long ago... had they happened to be within the reach of predatory human hands.  ~Havelock Ellis
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.

Honor the sacred.
Honor the Earth, our Mother.
Honor the Elders.
Honor all with whom we share the Earth:-
Four-leggeds, two-leggeds, winged ones,
Swimmers, crawlers, plant and rock people.
Walk in balance and beauty.
~ Native American Elder ~
We return thanks to our mother, the earth,
which sustains us.
We return thanks to the rivers and streams,
which supply us with water.
We return thanks to all herbs,
which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
We return thanks to the moon and stars,
which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.
We return thanks to the sun,
that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.
Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit,
in Whom is embodied all goodness,
and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.
~ Iroquois ~
I do not think the measure of a civilization
is how tall its buildings of concrete are,
But rather how well its people have learned to relate
to their environment and fellow man.
~ Sun Bear of the Chippewa Tribe ~

Save our Sacred Earth

Ethics should precede economics, We know this because we've seen the results of capitalism without conscience, the pollution of the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat, the endangerment of workers, and the sale of dangerous products, from cars to toys to drugs. All in pursuit of greater and greater profits. Just an awareness for you, your kids, your nieces, and your nephews. Teach them about our precious earth, so they can teach there kids, and there kids, kids. A great quote i like.-- "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." ~Native American Proverb

Awareness is always the first key to change!

behind the coal mining on Navajo land, the devastation it has on our mountains and earth.
